First run in December 2021, The Phoenix is the newest, most exciting race to hit the greyhound racing calendar in recent memory. In 2022 the event become the richest greyhound race in the world, with a total prize pool of $1.65 million and a $1 million winner’s cheque.

If you weren't at The Meadows for the inaugural running in 2021 or the second edition in 2022 then you won't want to miss what's planned for 2023.  

The 2023 Phoenix is set to to go up another level, as The Meadows is again transformed into fiery cauldron of excitement. Hospitality packages are now on sale for the world's richest greyhound race. General race track admission will be FREE!

The Meadows is home to The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association. Located in Broadmeadows, approximately 25km from the Melbourne CBD, it is to greyhound racing what the MCG is to AFL. A world class venue and racetrack, it's a most worthy stadia to host the world's richest greyhound race – The Phoenix.
