Momentum continues to build towards the second running of The Phoenix at The Meadows, with the eight successful slot holders set to be announced this Friday 16 September from 7.40am.

There will be no doubt be some anxious slot holder applicants waiting with phones in hand as the successful applicants are announced with the connections of reigning champion Wow She’s Fast and her co-favourite for the race, NSW darling She’s A Pearl on speed dial.

Once the slot holders are announced, all roads will lead to December 17 at The Meadows with negotiations heating up as slot holders commence the task of selecting the greyhound who will represent them in the $1.65 million-dollar race.
