The Phoenix 2023 Slot Applications Now Open

The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association is now welcoming slot holder applications for the third running of the world's richest greyhound race; The Phoenix 2023. The slots for The Phoenix 2023 are set to be highly sought after by participants, syndicates and businesses alike, with the cost of the slot remaining at the price set in 2022; $100,000. Former Premier of Victoria Dr Denis Napthine AO will again lead the Independent Assessment Panel (IAP) who will have the responsibility of selecting the successful eight slot holders. Key Dates:

· Slot Applications open 9am Monday 24 July 2023

· Slot Applications close 11:59pm Friday September 1 2023

· Slot Holders announced Friday 8 September 2023

· Final Field announced and Box Draw Sunday 10 December 2023

· Reserves confirmed Wednesday 13 December 2023
